This innovative cooking appliance features Tefal’s world-patented automatic filtration system, allowing you to drain, clean, store, and reuse cooking oil. Once you have finished cooking, simply turn the dial to ‘automatic filtration’. The cooled oil is drained through a sieve into the oil box below, clearing it of crumbs ready to be used again. All without an oil spill in sight.
The FR701640 has an oil capacity of two litres, which cooks approximately 0.8kg of food – enough for three portions. Cooking is simple with easy-to-use controls - just turn the dial to your desired cooking temperature to get going. Thanks to the adjustable thermostat, you can heat oil anywhere from 150 – 190 degrees. And, with the immersed heating system, you’ll be ready to fry in minutes.
